The Olympics and Paralympics are nearly here...

Just a few months away from the greatest show on earth, we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to stimulate and sustain increased participation amongst women. But it's not going to be easy, still only one in five women do enough to benefit their health.

The Women's Sport & Fitness Foundation will be working in partnership with Sporting Equals, English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) and StreetGames to deliver the Fit 4 Women events in March 2012. Working in partnership with these organisations provides an opportunity to further explore how to attract and retain women including women that are particularly under represented in sport/physical activity.

The Fit 4 Women event is your opportunity to learn about what projects are increasing participation, share your experiences and be inspired to deliver engaging and inclusive programmes. They provide a platform to present new knowledge and disseminate best practice, practical tools and tips.

Book your place today and take a look at the workshops and programme for the day.

Join the conversation: why is female participation still falling? tell us what you're doing that bucks the trend.
