I work to help make WSFF and its actions famous. We take our news and views to stakeholders through a number of channels including events, published materials, the WSFF website and media coverage.

What has your career involved before WSFF?

Before joining WSFF, I spent 8 years at large consumer PR consultancies, working on a variety of brands from Nokia to eBay, Boots to Sheila’s Wheels.  My experience also includes an amazing time with Comic Relief helping to raise the profile of its Sport Relief and Red Nose Day campaigns.

If you could change 1 thing to have a positive impact on women and girls' activity levels, what would it be?

I would ensure that as soon as a little girl is born, that they get a taste for why it’s good to be fit and active and never have a reason to forget it.

How does being active make you feel?

I grew up in the countryside, so I caught the active and outdoors bug quite early in life.  I often seek out parks in London to get my 'green' fix. When I’m being active it is total me time and nine times out of ten I head home feeling rosy and revitalised.

Favourite sport or physical activity

I like to run.  I just pop on a pair of trainers and go!  I love walking too.

Most memorable sporting moment

One thing that sticks in my mind is Daley Thompson’s Olympic gold medal.  I can still remember him saying, “I got the big G!”.  I remember too being a member of my Dad’s cheer squad at the London Marathon.

Who do you admire and why?

For me there is not one person I admire – it’s more about all of the amazing sports women who over the last few years have really helped champion our cause, for instance Chrissie Wellington, the whole England Women’s cricket team and most recently, Amy Williams.
